Maximilian Tai has more than 15 years of experience working with entities of all sizes across many industries. Frequently sought by major international and local companies for advice on cases involving employment issues, he specialises in employment law with a firm background in civil litigation and dispute resolution.
Graduated from the University of the West of England in 2000, he earned his Master’s degree in law (with Merit) and his undergraduate degree in Commercial and Industrial Law from the same university, with distinction and honours. He was called to the Honourable Society of Gray’s Inn in 2001 and the Malaysian Bar in 2006.
He was recognised as one of the “A-List” Top 100 Lawyers in Malaysia by the Asia Business Law Journal and has successfully represented clients at various levels of court from the Industrial Court, High Court to the Court of Appeal.
A firm advocate of employment rights, Maximilian Tai has given talks and in-house training on employment issues for various organisations ranging from domestic inquiries and sexual harassment management.
